Starting School for the First Time

Starting school for the first time in September 2023?

If your child was born between 1st September 2018 and 31st August 2019, you will need to apply soon for their place in primary school (Reception year), to start in September 2023.

The application process will open from 8th November 2022 and close on 15th January 2023. If you/your child live in North East Lincolnshire, you must submit your application to the School Admissions team of North East Lincolnshire Council, even if you want to apply for a place at a school in a different county.
